Slip Seconds Counter Increasing
If slip seconds are present on the T1/E1 or T3/E3 line, usually there is a clocking problem.
Complete the following steps to correct this problem:
1. Ensure the clock source is derived from the network (source clocking extracted from the line).
2. Set the T1/E1 or T3/E3 clock source from Controller mode if needed.
Note: Statistics displayed with the show controllers command are reset every 24 hours. That
is, once the port or line is created with the controller command, the 24-hour timer starts.

does not function as desired,
