Character Generator RAM (CGRAM)
The SED1225 has a built-in CGRAM to program user-
defined character patterns for highly flexible signal and
character display.
Issue the System Setup command to use the CGRAM.
The CGRAM has the 160-bit storage capacity, and it can
store up to four 5×8-dot character patterns.
The following provides the relationship between CGRAM
character patterns and CGRAM addresses and character
codes.
The 5×8-dot character size can also be set. To do so, use the *7H and *FH RAM addresses. However, the *7H and *FH
data is reversed if the underbar cursor is used.
