GPRB-16 relay board Instructions
The RI16 is a sixteen channel, small form factor general purpose relay board. It features
multi-voltage inputs and form C high current capacity outputs. Both the input and output channels
can be configured to share a common connection (typically ground) and this eliminates the need
for installing small jumper wires between channels in installations
where a common ground (or power) will be used.
Inputs
Connect trigger voltage 12 or 24Vdc(GBRB-16-12/24) or 6 or 12Vac (GPRB-16-6/12) on the “in”
terminals. Be sure to observe the trigger voltage polarity when using DC input voltages.
Be sure to set the input voltage jumpers correctly.
Input Voltage Jumpers
GPRB-16-12/24: 12v trigger voltage=LV position, 24v trigger voltage=HV position
GPRB-16-6/12: 6v trigger voltage=LV position, 12v trigger voltage=HV position
Input Common Jumpers
If one common will be used for all input trigger voltages, connect the common connection of the
trigger voltage to any “-“ terminal of an input. Then, place the “isolate/com” jumper for every input
channel in the “com” position. This connects all “-“ terminals of all channels together. If placed In
the “isolate” position, the “-“ terminal is isolated from all other inputs.
Relay outputs
The LED will light for all channels where there is an input voltage and the relay contacts for those
channels will close. Connect loads to C(common) and NO(Normally Open) or NC(Normally
Closed). Up to 8amp DC or 10amp 120VAC loads can be connected
Output Common Jumpers
If one common will be used for all output relays, connect the common load connection to any one
of the channels “C” terminal. Then place the “com/isolate” jumper for every output channel in the
“com” position. This connects all “C” terminals of all channels together. If placed In the “isolate”
position, the “C“ terminal is isolated from all other output relays.
Warranty
All ETS products carry a one year parts and labor warranty. This warranty does not cover damages as a
result of misuse, improper handling of the unit or exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture. At its
discretion, ETS reserves the right to repair or replace this unit under the conditions of the warranty. If you
experience problems with your equipment call ETS at: 505-888-3923 to obtain a return authorization
number. Equipment requiring repair beyond the warranty period or units that have been damaged or are not
covered under the warranty can be repaired by ETS for a minimal cost under most conditions.
