CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancause
engine,exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystem
tooverheatwhichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaust
systemarea.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screen,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea.
RemoveEngineShroudsand
CleanCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengineandclean
coolingns.Alsocleandust,dirtandoilfrom
externalsurfacesofenginewhichcancause
inadequatecooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudsarereinstalled.
Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshrouds
willcauseenginedamageduetooverheating.

Removingdebrisfromthehydrofancoolingnswill
allowthehydrosystemtoruncoolerandimprovethe
lifeofthehydrosystem.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.LifttheseattoaccesstheLHandRHhydrodrive
area.
3.Removeaccumulateddebrisfromthehydrofan
coolingns.
CleanDebrisFromMachine

1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanoffanyoil,debris,orgrassbuild-uponthe
machineandcuttingdeck,especiallyunderdeck
beltshields,aroundthefueltank,aroundengine
andexhaustarea.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch.
2.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
3.Raisedecktothetransport(5inch(12.7cm)
cuttingheight)position.Liftthefrontofunit
andsupportunitusingjackstandsorequivalent
support.
CAUTION
Raisingthemowerdeckforserviceor
maintenancerelyingsolelyonmechanical
orhydraulicjackscouldbedangerous.The
mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmaynotbe
enoughsupportormaymalfunctionallowing
theunittofall,whichcouldcauseinjury.
DoNotrelysolelyonmechanicalorhydraulic
jacksforsupport.Useadequatejackstands
orequivalentsupport.
4.Cleanoutanygrassbuild-upfromundersideof
deckandindischargedeector.
