A device must be in a compliant state to receive a template. If you try to install a template on non-

compliant (non-supported) devices, AirDefense displays a warning message and prevents you from

installing the template.

Add a New CLI Proﬁle

Using ADSP, you can create and update device conﬁgurations by revising the conﬁguration ﬁles and

their CLI command set. You can use the default CLI proﬁles (conﬁguration templates) or change the

proﬁles to meet the conﬁguration requirements of your devices. This allows you to apply proﬁles to any

or all of the devices in your network. Devices are typically APs and switches.
