Glossary

Once you give the CA the information from the generated ﬁle, they will give you instructions on how to

proceed, probably an email message. You will have to save the certiﬁcate ﬁles somewhere on your

workstation such as your Desktop. There should be three certiﬁcates:

• Intermediate

• Root

• SSL which is the tomcat certiﬁcate.

Importing Certiﬁcate Files from CA

1. Click the Import New button. The Import New Certiﬁcate window displays.

2. Click the Browse button to open the Select ﬁle to upload window.

Note

This is the procedure for a third party certiﬁcate. You also have the option of selecting an

appliance certiﬁcate which includes private keys for the appliance, and is either self-signed

or signed by a CA. Appliance certiﬁcates are always named Appliance.
