This is the Service Set Identiﬁer to which the BSSs belong.

Wireless Client Icons

There are various types of Wireless Clients. Each type has its own set of icons to identify the Wireless

Clients throughout the AirDefense GUI. The dierent types are:

• Default or Un-categorized Devices—Default (used to identify Wireless Clients that have not been

associated with a speciﬁc type)

• MCDs—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of mobile computing devices carried

by employees

• VoIP Phones—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of Voice Over Internet

Protocol (VoIP) devices in the network

• Laptops—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of Laptops identiﬁed by

AirDefense

• Employee Laptops—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of laptops assigned to

employees as identiﬁed by AirDefense

• Employee Phones—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of mobile phones

assigned to employees as identiﬁed by AirDefense
