Glossary

The Discovery Proﬁles screen has a provision to manually run the proﬁles listed in this screen. By

default Extreme AirDefense runs the discovery proﬁle based on its schedule. To force Extreme

AirDefense to run a discovery proﬁle on demand, select the icon.

To add more discovery proﬁles, use the icon located to the top right of this screen. For more

information, see Add a Discovery Proﬁle on page 161.

Add a Discovery Proﬁle

Discovery proﬁles conﬁgure how devices are discovered or imported into the Extreme AirDefense

managed network.

To add a new discovery proﬁle:

1. From the Discovery Proﬁles screen, select the icon.

The Discovery Proﬁle dialog displays.
