Port Suppression
The Port Suppression action is used to suppress communication between unauthorized devices and the
switches on your network.

Use the Scope Increase Factor drop-down to select the scope of this action. The value in this field
specifies the number of levels to expand the scope of the port suppression action. A value of one (1)
means only use the floor level. A value of two (2) indicates that the devices in the floor and its parent
level are to be included. And so on. The maximum value that can be set is six (6).
Use the Device Limit field to specify a device limit. When a value is specified, for example, ten (10), the
port suppression action will not be performed if the number of devices connected to the port exceeds
this value.

Termination
The Termination action enables the automatic termination of devices that generate the alarms selected
in the Alarms tab. When the Alarm criteria are met, devices at the selected scope level are terminated
automatically.
