2. Provide the IP address of the remote system log server in the Syslog Server IP Address ﬁeld.

The IP address is only veriﬁed for proper formatting. AirDefense does not verify that the IP address

is of a valid system log server.

If already conﬁgured, you can also choose to provide the IP address of your current system log

server in this ﬁeld. This is the server where your Alarm logs are currently being sent.

Note

This ﬁeld will not accept host names.

Note

You cannot enter multiple IP addresses in this ﬁeld.

3. Select the APPLY button to save the information.

On successful registration, activity logs from your AirDefense system is sent to the remote system

log server.
