• NEVER direct a backup to /usr/local/smx/backups on a standby server. This will prevent

synchronization from working properly.

Manual Backups

You can manually back up your server conﬁguration to your workstation by following these steps:

1. Click the Backup Now button to display the Backup Ready window.

2. Click the Download button to open a window where you can select your destination directory

(folder).

3. Navigate to the directory where you want to back up your server conﬁguration.

4. Click Save to save the backup ﬁle in the selected directory.
