The SharpEye Lens M46 is perfect for shooting close-up images of fish, corals, texture and
more. It magnifies the subject and enables the camera to focus on small, nearby objects,
creating unique and sharp images.
The SharpEye Lens M46 is a “wet” lens that fits onto the housing’s lens port and can be
installed and removed during the course of the dive.

Compatibility
The SharpEye Lens M46 can be mounted directly on top of all Fantasea new generation
compact digital housings and almost all Olympus housings lens ports. It is also compatible
with any other housing with a 46 or 55mm threaded lens port.
Other housings might require an adaptor for attaching the SharpEye Lens M46 on their lens
port:
Additional Adaptor (#4095) required for CP-5 and CP-7 housings
Additional Adaptor (#4096) required for CP-3, CP-3N, CP-4, CP-6, FL-3, FL-4, FL-6,
FP-1 and FP-4 housings
Additional Adaptor (#4089) required for FS-5, FS-6, FS-9 and FS-51 housings
Instructions
1. Please use the utmost care and do not use excessive force when assembling and
disassembling the different lens accessories, in order not cause any damage to the
products.
2. If an adaptor ring is required in order to attach the macro lens to your housing’s lens
port (see Compatibility above), attach the adaptor to the macro lens.
3. During the dive, install the macro lens by screwing it on to your housing’s lens port.
4. Please note that the SharpEye Lens M46 was designed to work underwater
only. Therefore, the lens should only be installed underwater, while letting water
enter the gap between the macro lens and the housing’s lens port. Make sure that
there are no air bubbles trapped between the accessory lens and the housing’s lens
port.
5. When taking photos with the macro lens installed, set your camera’s focus mode to
“Macro”.
6. The lens can be removed and installed repeatedly throughout the course of the dive.
7. When removing the SharpEye Lens M46 from the housing’s lens port, it can be
secured by attaching it to the EyeGrabber F46, which mounts on any standard Flex
or Ball & Joint Arm. For further information, please visit our website at

8. After the dive, detach the macro lens from the housing’s lens port and all adaptors
and rinse all lens components in fresh water.
9. Dry and store in a safe protected place.
