Warning
Strong magnetic fields may occur when components of the linear axis are be-
ing dismantled. Strong magnetic fields can lead to serious health risks or even
death for persons with implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) or hearing aids, and
pregnant women.
• Always leave the linear motor fitted inside the linear axis. Otherwise
strong magnetic fields may occur. When the device is fitted inside, the
magnetic fields are harmless.
• Do not modify the settings of screws and threaded pins if there is no re-
quest to do this in these operating instructions.
• Note that magnetic fields can also occur if the linear motor is badly dam-
aged (e.g. due to incorrect transport).

cal data).

It is vital that the stipulations contained in this section are adhered to
at all times. This is the only way to ensure correct and safe product behaviour.
• Compare the maximum values specified in these operating instructions
with your actual application (e.g. forces, torques, temperatures, masses,
speeds). Only if the loading limits are observed can the linear axis be oper-
ated in accordance with the relevant safety guidelines.
• Take into consideration the ambient conditions at the location of use. Cor-
rosive environments reduce the service life of the linear axis.
• Please comply with national and local safety laws and regulations.
• Use the linear axis in its original state without undertaking any modifi-
cations.
• Note the warnings and instructions on the product and in the relevant op-
erating instructions.
Environment
Remove transport packaging such as foils, caps and cardboard. The packag-
ing is intended for recycling.
