5.7.12 Position sampling (on−the−fly measurement)
A local digital input (IN1 or IN2) not occupied by the
reference or limit switch can be used as a fast sample input.
With a falling (depending on configuration: a rising) edge at
the configured sample input, the current position value is
written (in 204A/05h or 06h) into a tab of the SFC−LACI
and
can afterwards be read out by the higher−level control system
(PLC/IPC) (PNU 350 or PNU 351).

Trigger mode
Value = 1: cyclic" (continuous) = record position for every rising
(depending on configuration: and/or falling) edge
Value = 2: single" = record position only for the first rising
(depending on configuration: and/or falling) edge

Edge status
Value = 0: An edge was not registered. Writing 0 resets both edge
events to 0.
Value = 1: A falling edge has occurred and a new position value was
stored.
Value = 2: A rising edge has occurred and a new position value was
stored.
Value = 3: A rising and a falling edge have occurred, the respective
position values were stored.
