EMERGENCY STARTING
When jump starting, never connect the negative lead
– fig. 72 of the auxiliary battery to the negative
pole A fig. 72 of the car battery, rather to an
engine/gearbox earth point.
IMPORTANT NOTES
WARNING
Before opening the bonnet, make sure
that the vehicle is switched off and
the key is in the STOP position. Follow the
instructions on the dedicated label on the front
crossmember fig. 73. It is advisable to extract
the key when there are other people in the car.
The car should always be left after the key
has been removed or turned to the STOP
position.When refuelling, make sure that the
car is switched off with the key in the STOP
position.
