Securing the canopy

Troubleshooting
The xture will not light.
Problem Possible cause Solution
The power is off.
The circuit breaker is off.
Ensure the power supply is On.
Ensure the circuit breaker is in the On position.
The fuse blows or the circuit breaker
trips when the light is turned on.
The wires are crossed or the power wire
is grounding out.
Check the wire connections.Contact a qualied
electrician or call the Customer Service Team at
1-800-986-3460.
□ Clean the xture with a soft,dry cloth.
□ Do not use any cleaners with chemicals,solvents or hash abrasives.
CAUTION: Before attempting to clean the xture,disconnect the
power to the xture by turning the breaker off or removing the fuse
from the fuse box.

Securing the pole
□ Screw the pole (A) onto the xture (B).
□ Tighten ring (DD) onto screw collar loop (CC) to secure
canopy (FF) over cross bar (AA).
□ Open the bottom section of the chain (EE) and attach it to the
pole (A).

Installing the bulbs
□ Screw the bulb (I I) into the socket.
NOTE: For bulb replacement, use 60-watt max. medium
base bulb or medium base CFL equivalent bulb.

Connecting the electrical wires

□ Strip the insulation of the ground wire from the xture cord
then wrap it around the ground screw (HH) on the cross
bar (AA). Connect the stripped ground wire from the xture
cord to the ground wire from the outlet box.
□
Connect the white wire from the xture cord to the white wire
(neutral wire) from the outlet box.
□ Connect the black wire from the xture cord to the black wire
(live wire) from the outlet box.
□ Cover the three connections using the three wire
connectors (GG). Wrap the three wire connections with
electrical tape for a more secure connection.
□ Position the wires back inside the outlet box.
