WHEN USING THE OVEN
Donot touchheatingelementsorinteriorsurfacesofthe oven, Heatingelementsmaybe hot eventhoughthey
aredarkincolor. Interiorsurfacesof an ovenbecomehotenoughto causeburns. Duringandafterusedo not
touchorlet clothingor otherflammablematerialscontactheatingelementsorinteriorsurfacesofthe oven
untilthey havehadsufficienttime to cool. Othersurfacesofthe oven,suchasthe ovenvent openingandthe
ovendoorandwindowcouldalsobecomehotenoughto causeburns.
Alwayspositionovenshelvesinthe desiredlocationwhile ovenis cool, If a shelfmustbe removedwhilethe
ovenis hot do not let the potholdercontacthot heatingelementsinthe ovenorthe baseof the oven.
Usecarewhen openingthe ovendoor. Let hot airor steamescapebeforeremovingor replacingfood.
Donot heat unopenedfood containers.Theycanbuilduppressurethat maycausethe containerto burstand
resultininjury.
Alwayskeepovenventducts unobstructed.
Useonlycookwareapprovedfor ovenuse. Followthecookwaremanufacturersinstructions.
Disconnectthe electricalsupplybeforeservicingthe oven.
CARE AND CLEANING
Smallamountsof harmfulchemicalsaregivenoff inthe self-cleaningcyclefrom insulationandfood
decomposition.Significantexposureto thesesubstancescancausecancerorreproductiveharm. Ventingwith
a hoodoropenwindowandwipingout excessfoodspillspriorto self-cleaningcan minimizeexposure.
Do not useovencleaners. No commercialovencleaner,ovenlinerorprotectivecoatingofanykindshouldbe
usedin oraroundanypart ofthe oven.
Beforeself cleaningthe oven,removethe three-piecebroilingsystem,anycookwareandthe ovenshelves.Do
not useyourovento cleanmiscellaneousparts.
Do notcleanthe doororcavityseals(gaskets)or useany ovencleaningproductsonthe seals. Theyareessential
for a goodsealandefficientoperationof the oven.
Careshouldbe takennot to rub,damageor movethe seals.
