PRO - Singlemode Fiber Length and Distance to Fault
Fiber OneShot PRO takes the complexity out of singlemode ber testing by analyzing ber links and
measuring faults up to 23,000 meters (15 miles) in less than ve seconds. Whether you are troubleshooting
FTTx, Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC), ber links between Central Ofces, or working on regional or rural access
networks, Fiber OneShot PRO is your rst response to ber trouble.
Locating faults like high loss connections, macro bends or breaks often requires a more expensive and
complex Optical Time Domain Reectometer (OTDR). The detail, documentation, certication and ease of
use provided by a Fluke Networks OTDR is exceptional, but is not always required for basic tests. Fiber One
Shot uses reections to determine where db losses are occurring in just a few seconds, and lls the gap
between a Visual Fault Locator (VFL) and OTDR.
