Pro Toner and Probe
Breakthrough digital and analog toning finds cables other toners/probes can’t. Advanced sensing modes
accurately find the correct cable bundle, and then rapidly isolate the exact cable. Digital signal rejects
noise and safely tones active networks. SmartTone™ feature precisely locates individual wire pairs by
changing tone when pair is shorted. Verifies end-to-end cable continuity and basic miswires. Identifies
and troubleshoots services with datacom link, two line telecom, continuity
and polarity. Powerful talk battery capability tests telecom circuits.

Pro3000
™
Analog Toner and Probe
The Pro3000 Toner and Probe kit is your best choice for toning and tracing
bare wire on non-active networks. Easily identify individual pairs with its
patented SmartTone® technology (five different tones for exact pair identifi-
cation). Angled-bed-of-nails clips allow easy access to individual wires, and
the RJ-11 connector is ideal for use on telephone jacks. The probe’s powerful
speaker allows you to hear through drywall, wood or other enclosures to find
wires quickly and easily. You can send tone up to 10 miles on most cables.
• Select solid or alternating tone options, indicated with solid or flashing LEDs
• Exclusive SmartTone technology generates five separate analog tones when the pair is shorted at the far end
• Works on de-energized AC wire, telephone/twisted pair wire, all voice and data category rated cable, all coax
cable, speaker wire and security wire
