9� Any fading or staining not on the surface of the

Product (i�e�, the underside or ends of the Product);

10� Improperhandling,maintenance,upkeep,storage,

abuse, neglect, or misuse of the Product by

  Purchaser,anytransfereeorthirdpares;

11� Exposuretoexcessiveheatsources(directlyor

  indirectly),including,withoutlimitaon,re,

  reectedsunlightfromlow-emissivity(Low-E)glass

or other enhanced or concentrated solar

  reecvity;

12� Fabricaonorre-manufacturingbyPurchaser,

  transfereeorthird-pares;

13� Ordinarywearandtear,scratchingorscung;and

14� Impactfromobjects.

Inaddion,thisLimitedWarrantywillbevoidedif(1)paint,stain

orothercoangmaterialsareappliedtotheProduct,or

(2)thesurfaceoftheProducthasbeendamagedorpuncturedas

aresultoftheuseofametalshovelorothersharp-edged

tool.Suchtoolsarenotbeusedtoremovesnow,ice,orother

debris from the surface of the Product�

THISLIMITEDWARRANTYSHALLNOTCOVER,ANDFORTRESS

DECKSHALLNOTBERESPONSIBLEFOR,COSTS

ANDEXPENSESINCURREDWITHRESPECTTOTHEREMOVALOF

DEFECTIVEPRODUCTORCOMPONENTS,OR

THEINSTALLATIONOFREPLACEMENTPRODUCTORCOMPO-

NENTS,INCLUDING,BUTNOTLIMITEDTO,LABOR,

FREIGHTORTAXES.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure:

To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, Purchaser or

 thetransferee,shallsendadescriponandphotographsof

 theclaimeddefectorcoveredcondion,proofof

 purchase,and,iftheclaimrelatestothelimitedwarranty

 onstainresistance,proofofcompliancewiththe

 requirementssetforthaboveunderSecon2(b)“Stain
