Viewing a Demonstration or Tutorial Changing the Settings When using this dictionary, you can activate the Learn a Word feature, adjust the type size, the shutoff time, and the screen contrast. The shutoff time is how long your unit stays on if you forget to turn it off. 1. Press menu in the dictionary, thesaurus, calculator, or converter. 2. To send a word to another book, you must first install a book card in your unit, and that book card must be able to send or receive words.
