CONSOLE TROUBLESHOOTING
If the console does not display your heart rate when
you hold the handgrip heart rate monitor, or if the dis-
played heart rate appears to be too high or too low, see
step 5 on page 16.
If a replacement power adapter is needed, call the
telephone number on the cover of this manual.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the console, use
only a manufacturer-supplied regulated power
adapter.
GREASING THE KNUCKLE BEARINGS
For the elliptical to function correctly, the knuckle
bearings must be greased every three months.
Before you grease the knuckle bearings, unplug
the power adapter.
See assembly step 7 on page 9. Remove the Left
and Right Pivot Covers (61, 62) from the Right and Left
Upper Body Legs (26, 34).
Next, load a grease gun (not included) with high-quality
multi-purpose extreme-pressure (EP) grease (not
included).
Then, attach the coupler on the grease gun to the
grease fitting (A) on a Knuckle Bearing (28) and
pump grease into the Knuckle Bearing until you see
the grease squeeze out of the edges of the Knuckle
Bearing.
Remove the coupler from the grease fitting. Repeat
these actions to grease the other Knuckle Bearing
(28). Then, wipe off the Knuckle Bearings with a cloth,
and reattach the parts that you removed.
