Do not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system.
Systems certied for cyst reduction may be
used on disinfected waters that may contain
lterable cysts.

To replace the PureSource Ultra II
TM
water lter:
It is not necessary to turn the water supply
off to change the lter. Be ready to wipe up
any small amounts of water released during
the lter replacement. (Instructional video of
procedure can be found on www.frigidaire.com.)
1 Push down on front edge of lter cover.
Cover will tilt down and expose water
lter.
2 Remove the old lter by rotating it
counter-clockwise (to the left) 90 degrees
to release it.
3 Slide the old lter cartridge straight out of
the housing and discard it.
4 Unpackage the new lter cartridge. Slide
it into the lter housing as far as it will go
with the grip end horizontal.
5 Push lightly inward on the lter while
rotating it clockwise (to the right). The
lter will then pull itself inward as it is
rotated. Rotate the lter 90 degrees until
it stops and the grip end is vertical. A very
light click may be heard as the lter locks
into place.

CHANGING THE FILTER
6 Press a drinking glass against the water
dispenser while checking for any leaks at
the lter housing. Any spurts and sputters
that occur as the system purges air out of
the dispenser system are normal.
7 Continue dispensing water for 3-4
minutes. It may be necessary to empty
and rell the container several times.
8 Press and hold the Reset Water Filter
button on the display for three seconds.
When indicator is no longer illuminated,
the water lter status has been reset.
9 Replace lter cover by pushing up and
snapping into place.
