SETTING MICROWAVE CONTROLS
Add Cook Time (+30 Sec)
Pressing the START pad once starts cooking at
100% power with 30 seconds of cooking time.
Pressing the START pad during cooking adds 30
seconds (for each press) to the cook time at the
current power level.
NOTE: The “+30sec” function is not available when
using the Defrost or any of the Preset features.
Defrost
The auto defrost feature provides you with the best
defrosting method for frozen foods. The cooking
guide will show you which defrost sequence is rec-
ommended for the food you are defrosting.
For added convenience, the Auto Defrost includes
a built-in beep mechanism that reminds you to
check, turn over, separate, or rearrange the food in
order to get the best defrost results. Three dier-
ent defrosting levels are provided: MEAT, POULTRY,
and FISH.
To set automatic defrost:
1. Press Defrost until the correct food type dis-
plays.

2. Press START.
3. Use the numeric keys to enter the weight of the
food in pounds. The setting can be from 0.1 to
6.0 lbs.
4. Press START.
When the food is ready, three long tones sound,
and “FOOD READY” shows in the display.
Popcorn
CAUTION
DO NOT leave the microwave oven unattended
while popping corn.
The Popcorn feature lets you pop three dierent
sizes of commercially packaged microwave pop-
corn.
1. Press Popcorn until the correct popcorn
amount displays.

Potato
The potato feature cooks 1-4 baked potatoes auto-
matically (starting from room temperature).
Note: Foods with unbroken outer “skin” -- such as
potatoes, hot dogs, sausages, tomatoes, apples,
chicken livers and other giblets, and egg yolks --
should be pierced to allow steam to escape during
cooking.
To set the Potato feature:
1. Press Potato.
2. Press START.
When the food is ready, three long tones sound,
and “FOOD READY” shows in the display.
