HAT IS IT? Gardner Flexx-Bond® Rubberized Coating and Adhesive

s a premi-

m liquid applied asphalt coating that has a blend of rubber and reinforcing fibers to pro-
vide a strong, flexible, waterproof seal. Product has exceptional adhesion to roll roofing,
m
asonry surfaces, and new asphalt rolls. Flexx-Bond® is also a modified bitumen adhe-
sive designed to bond sheets of SBS or standard asphalt roll roofing in cold process
roofing systems. The addition of rubber enhances performance to last longer, resist
c
racking and provides increased waterproofing protection. Product is black in color. For
exterior use only.

provides a tough flexible waterproof seal. As a Roof Adhesive, this product provides an
excellent bond to existing and new SBS and standard asphalt roll roofing membranes,
a
nd provides additional waterproofing protection. As a

oundation Sealant,

his prod-
uct is ideal for use on masonry, wood and metal surfaces to protect, preserve and water-
p
roof, below grade surfaces. This multi-use product forms a tough rubberized seal for
lasting protection.

OW TO APPLY?
U
se brush to spread across surface of roof. If using as an adhesive,
allow product to set up 10-15 minutes before setting roll roofing membrane into wet
adhesive.

W MUCH DO I NEED?

vers approximately 40-50 sq. ft. per gallon as a coating.
As an adhesive covers 75-100 sq. ft. per gallon.
DO's and DON'Ts: Do apply in exterior applications only. Do wear protective clothing.
Don't apply to w
et surfaces. Don't apply to plastic, EPDM, Hypalon or similar type of syn-
thetic rubber roof system. If there is a question on compatibility, test a small section first
before application to entire surface area.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Apply on a clear warm day with no rain expected for 24 hours.
In colder w
eather (50° and belo
w), product should be stored in heated room (70
° to 80°
F.) at least 24 hours prior to application to promote ease of application. MIXING MAY

TO ENSURE PRODUCT UNIFORMITY. DO NOT APPLY DIRECT
HEA
T/FLAMES OR THIN. Apply when surface temperatures are between 50° and 120°
F. Product formulated to be used year round. Allow product to cure a minimum of 30
days prior to application of reflective coating, if used as a roof coating.

ting this product, ensure that lid is tight and pail secure
and upright. Do not allow pail to tumble as this may cause lid to loosen and leakage to
occur. Do not transport on passenger seats or inside the passenger compartment of any
vehicle. Store product in the cargo area of vehicle, and secure over protective cloths to
prevent damage due to accidental spills. Do not store at temperatures above 100° F.

HOW TO CLEAN-UP? Clean tools or spills with paint thinner or mineral spirits.

This warranty is only applicable when this product is applied according to our directions,
and used with reinforcing fabric. This warranty does not cover flat roofs, or poor drainage

xists. All surfaces must maintain a minimum slope of 1" per
foot (5°), to be eligible for warranty. If the repair does not perform as stated during the guar-
antee per
iod, we will provide the original purchaser with original sales receipt, the replace-
ment product to repair the effected part of the roof. Failures due to acts of God, fire, struc-
tural defects or causes beyond our control are excluded from this guarantee. The manufac-
