Making batter
The dough blade is used for mixing dough and batter. You will find some recipes starting page 18.
WARNING: Always turn the appliance ´OFF`, wait until the motor stops and unplug the
appliance before assembling/disassembling. Always completely assemble your appliance
before you plug the plug into the power point. Only touch the blade on the edge and handle
with care when cleaning. Do not chop extremely hard food, such as ice, coffee beans
or nutmeg.
WARNING: The dough blade is can not process dough that is to heavy and thick.
1. Place the container on a suitable, stable, dry, and clean working surface. (see:
‘Safeguards for Daily Operation’).
2. Place the bowl on the motorblock turning it anticlockwise until it is securely locked in position.
Do not use any force. The handle should be facing the front which is
above the control panel.
3. Place the dough blade on the drive shaft in the middle of the
bowl (picture A). NOTE: Push the blade down until the blade is situated
2 mm above the bottom of the bowl. Always place the blade in the
thoroughly cleaned container before filling in any food. Ensure that
the blade is correctly positioned on the circle on the bottom of
the container. The circle must be thoroughly clean and there may
be no residues of food on it. Check whether the blade is positioned
correctly and can move freely.
NOTE: You do not use the disc stem because the blade mixes the
food just above the ground of the bowl.
Fill the measured ingredients in the container. Do not overfill the
container (max. 480 ml of liquids). Otherwise the batter can leak
out of the bowl while processing.
4. Attach the lid to the bowl (picture B). The feed chute can be facing either ways:
the front with the control panel or the opposite side. Turn the lid anticlockwise until it
is securely locked and in position.
IMPORTANT: The humps of the rim of the lid should align with the small plastic wings
on the bowl. Lower into position. The lid has to be securely locked.
.
NOTE: The appliance will not turn ‘ON` unless properly assembled.
5. Connect the power plug to a suitable wall power outlet.
6. Make sure the food pusher covers the feed chute.
Otherwise food could be thrown out of the feed chute. Start
the appliance pressing the ´ON` button. The motor will start
moving and the food will get processed.
