• Check local building codes regarding the post installation depth and frost line requirements. Posts are generally installed

24 in. in the ground with 6 in. of pea gravel. A concrete footer may be required when the frost line exceeds 30 in./Consulte

Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and

hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product.

Privacy panels - Install posts leaving 72 in. above the ground for proper installation. Horizontal panel measurements may be

required to keep rails aligned visually. After installation of the ﬁ rst post and hole dug for the second post, measure 2-1/2 in. down

from the top of ﬁ rst post and mark center within post width.

Picket panels - Refer to the panel instructions or match the panel spacing below. Measurements are taken from the ground up

to the bottom rail, allowing for 2 in. from the ground up plus pickets if exposed under the rail (X). Then measure from the top of

the bottom rail to the bottom of the top rail (Y), mark for the anchor screw in the center of the post 2-1/2 in. above the bottom of

the top rail (Y + 2-1/2

in.).

Estimated Assembly Time: 10 minutes per panel

Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Gloves, Level, Safety Glasses, Utility Knife, Drill with 1/8 in. Bit, Pencil, Screwdriver,

Tape Measure, 2 Blocks of Wood (approximately 2 in. high)

1. Using measurements from the

preparation area, pre-drill and

use a #10 x 3/4 in. screw (AA) as

an anchor to hang the panel.

4. Add bracket covers (B) to the top

and bottom rails by gently prying

open the bracket cover and

placing it over the bracket. Install

the covers on all four corners.

2. Slide brackets (A) onto each top

rail of the panel. Pre-drill and

loosely secure with (4) #10 x

3/4 in. screws (AA) to allow for

adjustability later. Repeat for all

four corners and mid-rail

(if present).

5. For mid-rails, cut along the inside

score marks with a utility knife.

Place bracket over rail just before

bracket. Next, slide bracket cover

over the bracket. Repeat for back

and other side.

3. Secure the top panel to the ﬁ rst

post, pre-drill and install loosely

with (4) #10 x 3/4 in. screws

(AA). To help stabilize the panel,

use wood blocks on the bottom.

Secure the top to the second

post. Check alignment with level.

Next, secure the bottom and

mid-rail of the panels to the

center of both posts. Level

the panel before tightening all

screws.

6. Repeat steps for all remaining

posts and carefully measure from

panel to panel to keep visually

aligned. The anchor screw

position may require location

adjustment.

Panels can be removed later by

removing all post screws.
