Allow three minutes for iron to reach desired temperature. 4. To turn iron off, set Fabric Setting Indicator to OFF (O) and unplug iron. TO STEAM IRON 1. Unplug iron. Open water tank fill cover. Using a cup, slowly pour 10 ounces (310 ml) of tap water into the water tank opening. Close water tank fill cover. 2. Plug in iron. 3.

Unplug the iron and hold over a sink. Turn iron upside down until Water Tank Opening is parallel with sink. Water will run out of water tank opening. 2. After iron has completely cooled, fully retract cord into iron and store in an upright position. Do not store iron laying flat on soleplate. Soleplate 1.

After 1 hour the iron will shutoff and the light will go out. Auto Shutoff Press the Temperature Selector to turn the iron back on for Status another hour of ironing. Check the outlet by plugging in a lamp. • Is the Temperature Control turned to a fabric setting? • If auto shutoff model, is light on? If not, push Reset Button. Water is leaking out of the iron. • Do not overfill the water tank.
