Lift-Off Oven Door

The door is very heavy. Be careful when removing and lifting the door. Do not lift door by the handle.

To Remove the Door:

1. Fully open the oven door.

2. Locate the hinge lock on each hinge. While gently

pushing down on the door, slide both hinge locks

up to the locked position. Make sure the hinge locks

remain up in the locked position.

3. Firmly grasp both sides of the door near the middle.

4. Close door until the top of the door is approximately a

foot from the range frame.

5. Lift door up and away from the range until both hinge

arms are clear of the slots in the range frame. Lay the

door on a flat surface.

To Replace the Door:

1. Firmly grasp both sides of the door near the middle.

2. With the door at the same angle as the removal

position, fully insert the hinge arms into the hinge slots.

3. Lift up on the door slightly to engage the hooks

located on top of the hinge arm with the hinge

brackets in the door frame.

4. Fully open the door. If the door is not securely held

in place by the hinges, the hooks on the hinge arms

may not have engaged the hinge bracket properly.

5. Push the hinge locks down to the unlocked position

6. Close the oven door.
