IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY PRECA UTIONS
• Avoid placing any objects on or near the
keypads in order to prevent accidental
acti\_tion of the cooktop controls.
• To minimize the possibility of bm'ns, always
be certain that the controls fi>r all sm'thce
m_its are at the off position and the entire
glass surtace is cool befl)re attempting to
clean the cooktop.
• Always kee I) wooden and plastic utensils and
canned Ik)od a safe distance away t]'()ill v()/li"
cooktop. They mav become hot and could

• Do not place or store items on top of the
glass cooktop surfilce when it is not in use.
• Always turn off the surface unit controls
betore removing the cookware.
• Glass and ceramic cookware is not
recommended for use with wmr radiant
ceramic glass cooktop.
• Kee I) an eve on toods being ti'ied at high or
medimn-high heat settings.
• When preparing flaming toods trader the
hood, ttli'n the tim on.
• Spilled or burnt-on flmds may cause
accidental actiw_tion or deactiw_tion of the
keypad, Clean the keypad thoroughly and
controls will resmne normal operation.
• Foods fi_r fl'ying should be as d_y as possible.
Frost on fl'ozen fi)ods or moisture on fl'esh
fi)ods can cause hot tht to bubble up and
over the sides of the pan.
• Use little tht ti)r effective shallow or deep-tat
flTing. Filling the pan too flfll of tat can cause
spillovers when tood is added.
• Use a deep-tat thermometer whenever
possible to prevent overheating tat beyond
the smoking point.
• Never heat tmopened ti)od containers.
Pressure buildup may make container burst

• Never leaveja_ or cans of tat drippings on
0I" ne}lI" VO/li" cooktop.
• If a combination of oils or thts will be used
in fl'ying, stir together betore heating, or as
lilts melt slowly.
• For w)ur satety, never use w)ur appliance tot
warming or heating the room,
