SAFETY ADVICE:
Always handle the monitor with care. To reduce the risk of burns, electric shocks and other injuries,
always follow this safety advice during assembly, use and maintenance of your appliance.
1) Read through all instructions carefully.
2) Maintain these instructions in good condition.
3) Heed all warning advice.
4) Follow all instructions.
5) Do not use the equipment near to water.
6) Only clean the appliance with a dry cloth.
7) Do not block the ventilation slots. Install the appliance in accordance with the manufacturers
instructions.
8) Do not place the appliance near a heat source, e.g. radiator, oven or other heat producing
equipment (including amplifiers).
9) Do not remove or damage the seal of the polarised or earthed plugs. A polarised plug has two
connectors, one wider than the other. An earthed plug has two connectors plus a third earthed
connector. The wider or third connector is provided with safety in mind. If the delivered plug does
not fit in your plug socket, ask an electrician to change the old plug socket
10) The electricity cable should be placed in such a way that it cannot be walked on or pinched, pay
particular attention near the plug and plug socket as well as at the point where the cable exits the
appliance.
11) Only use accessories and adaptors, which are recommended by the manufacturer.
12) Always use trolleys, stands, tripods, frames or tables which are
specifically recommended or sold by the manufacturer of the
appliance. When using a trolley or when moving the appliance
onto a trolley, take care that it does not tip over and thus cause
injury.
13) Un-plug the device during storms or during long periods of non-use.
14) Repairs should only be carried out by qualified maintenance technicians. It is essential that
repairs are carried out if the appliance becomes damaged in any way, e.g. the electricity cable or the
plug, if liquid or objects have fallen into the appliance, if the appliance has been subjected to rain or
dampness, if the appliance does not function properly or if it has been dropped.
