1 BEFORE STARTING
Please read carefully following chapters before running DATA MANAGER software.
DATA MANAGER is available in two different license:
• Data Manager free: the freeware version of Data Manager (it includes Download Data , Config
Datalogger and Mx2 analysis software)
• Data Manager – WINTAX: the payment version of Data Manager (it includes Download Data , Config
Datalogger, Mx2, Magneti Marelli WINTAX 4 analysis software and license hardware key)
1.1 INSTALLING SOFTWARE
1.1.1 System Requirements
Hardware:
• Processor: Intel Pentium IV o AMD 2GHz or higher – 32/64 bit
• RAM: 1GB (minimum size)
• Ethernet Card: 10/100 Mbps (or higher)
• Communication Port: USB 2.0
Software:
• Operative System: Microsoft Windows

In order to install WinTAX4 for GET software proceed as follows:
• Run the installation file called file Install_DM_<Release Number>.exe (double click on program icon)
PLEASE NOTE: Windows

Vista and/or 7 might require the Administrator privileges to start the
installation.
• Follow the guided procedure to finish the installation.
PLEASE NOTE: fit the HASP USB key (the hardware license) in the USB port before start the WINTAX
setup.
DON’T TRY TO INSTALL THE FREEWARE VERSION OF DATA MANAGER IF THE
PAYMENT LICENSE IS ALREADY INSTALLED.
