Registering the handset
You must initiate handset registration on the handset (1) and on
the base station (2).
1)On the handset
¤ Press the bottom of the control key until Handset is highlighted by the bar.
¤ Press the display key §OK§ to open the submenu.
¤ Press the bottom of the control key until Register H/Set is highlighted by the
bar.
¤ Press the display key §OK§ to open the submenu.
¤ Enter the system PIN of the base station (the default is 0000) and press §OK§.
2) On the base station
¤ Within 60 seconds, press and hold the registration/paging key on the base sta-
tion (approx. 3 seconds).
Following successful registration, the internal number of the handset is displayed,
e.g. INT 1.
If registration was unsuccessful, repeat the process.
¤ Press on the right side of the control
key to display the main menu.
¤ Press the display key §OK§ to open the
submenu.
