Operation with router
When operating on the analogue connection of a router, potentially occurring echoes can be reduced by
activating XES mode

Operating a PABX
Some settings are usually required for operation behind a PABX; see PABX user guide.
¤ Menu ¤ P(Q5( . . . the number 9 appears on the display ¤ . . . with ~ select:
Entering a dialling pause when dialling
¤ Hold down the redial key S . . . a P appears on the display
Switching temporarily from pulse dialling (PD) to tone dialling (DTMF)
After dialling the external number or after establishing the connection:
¤ Press the star key briefly P

If there are no problems with echoes, the XES mode should be deactivated (default setting).
Dialling mode: ¤ 1N ¤ Q = tone dialling
(DTMF) ¤ OK
or ¤ 1 = pulse dialling
(PD) ¤ OK
Flash time: ¤ 1Q ¤ Q = 80 ms ¤ OK or ¤ 1 = 100 ms ¤ OK
or ¤ 2 = 120 ms ¤ OK or ¤ I = 400 ms ¤ OK
or ¤ 4 = 250 ms ¤ OK or ¤ 5 = 300 ms ¤ OK
or ¤ L = 600 ms ¤ OK or ¤ M = 800 ms ¤ OK
Pause after line seizure: ¤ 1L ¤ 1 = 1 sec ¤ OK or ¤ 2 = 3 sec ¤ OK
or ¤ I = 7 sec ¤ OK
Pause after Recall key: ¤ 12 ¤ 1 = 800 ms ¤ OK or ¤ 2 = 1600 ¤ OK
or ¤ I = 3200 ms ¤ OK
