The following functions are available for working with directory entries or whole directories:

Message/call lists
The telephone saves information about various events in lists:
• Call list: numbers of all incoming or missed calls
• Answer machine list (A170A/A270A only): messages on the answer machine
• Network mailbox list: messages on the network mailbox
An advisory tone sounds as soon as a new en
try appears on one of the lists. The message New
messages is shown on the display.
Call list
Prerequisite: CLIP ( p. 14)
Depending on the list type setting, the call lis
t contains the numbers of the most recent
incoming or missed calls.
Setting the list type
¤ MENU Settings OK Base OK Call list type OK Missed Calls /
All Calls OK ( = selected)
Opening the call list
¤ MENU Messages OK CallsList
Information on the call list is displayed:
CallsList Num
ber of new entries + number of old, read entries
To open the list:
Press the display key OK . . . The most recent incoming call is displayed
¤ if necessary use to select another entry
Show Number Display the number of the directory entry selected
Show Name Display the name of the directory entry selected
Edit Entry Edit the number or name of the directory entry selected
Use Number Dial numbers
Shortcut Allocate a number from the directory to a key for quick dial ( p. 27)
Delete Entry Delete the selected entry
Delete List Delete the entire directory
If calls are stored in the network mailbox, you receive a message when the setting is

onfigured (dependent on the network provider).
