Resetting the system
Resetting the base
A reset disables the mode No Radiation, resets individual settings and deletes all the lists.
The time and date are not affected. The answer machine (A1
70A/A270A only) will not be ready
for operation until approximately 15 seconds after the reset.
Resetting the base via the menu
The handsets remain registered. The system PIN is not reset.

Resetting the base using a key on the base (A170A/A270A only)
All handsets are de-registered. The system PIN is set back to the original code 0000.
¤ Unplug the network cable from the base Press and hold the Registration /paging key
( p. 5) on the base At the same time reconnect the network cable to the base Press
and hold the key for at least 5 seconds
Resetting the handset
You can reset individual settings. Entries in the directory and call list, and the handset’s
registration to the base, are preserved.

To cancel the reset:
