Installation 1 Installing the faucet assembly 2 Installing the faucet assembly CAUTION: Always shut off the water supply before removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure and ensure that the water is completely shut off. NOTE: This step is for escutcheon installation (optional). If the escutcheon will not be used, install the faucet assembly as described in step 1. NOTE: This step is for no escutcheon installation (optional).
Installation (continued) the quick connector 3 Securing the faucet assembly 4 Attaching to the receiving block □ □ From underneath the sink, secure the faucet assembly to the sink with the FastMount™ system (B). The FastMount™ system (B) through the outlet tube (1), hose (2), supply hose (3), supply hose (4), outlet tube (5) and sensor cable (6) in sequence. Push the FastMount™ system (B) up over the threads until it stops against the bottom of the sink, then hand turn (clockwise) to tighten (Fig 1).
Installation (continued) 5 Installing the weight □ Install the weight clip (G) at the point of the hose marking “weight here”. □ Insert the weight (F) onto the clip (G) by sliding it down onto the clip (G). the water supply 6 Making connections NOTE: The hot side inlet tube is indicated by a label. Avoid twisting wires together or placing the wires close to each other and damaging. □ Attach the tee connector (H) onto the outlet of the cold water supply valve (1) and tighten with wrench.
Installation (continued) 7 Connecting the hose □ Connect the end of the hose (I) with the quick connector to the tee connector (H). Push the quick connector with the green tab on the hose (I) firmly upward and attach it to the receiving block with green on the tee connector (H). Pull moderately to ensure the connection has been made. If it is necessary to remove the quick connector, squeeze the tabs on the quick connector and then pull to disconnect.
Installation (continued) 8 Connecting the filtration manifold Connect the end (1) with outlet indicated by the tag of the outlet hose into the end (2) with outlet indicated of the filtration manifold (J). Pull moderately to ensure the connection has been made. NOTE: Incorrect application may result in failure or leaks.
Installation (continued) 9 Installing the filtration system □ Before installation, select the location for the filtration manifold (J). The screws should be placed a minimum of 15 in. above the bottom of the floor where the filtration system is to be mounted. Any distance lower may result in the filter set (K) interfering with the floor when removing the filters for maintenance. □ Use the filtration manifold (J) as a template to mark the screw hole locations where the screws are to be installed.
Installation (continued) 10 Installing the sensor cable □ Install the sensor cable (1) to the connection (2) of the timer (O). Ensure the holes (3) on the sensor cable (1) and the pillars (4) on the timer (O) are aligned to one another to ensure proper installation. Ensure they are tightly connected by firmly pushing together. □ If it is necessary to remove the timer (O), squeeze the tabs (5 & 6) on the sensor cable (1) and timer (O) at the same time.
Installation (continued) 11 Installing the batteries □ To open the timer (O), push out the cover (4). □ Install the two AA batteries (N) included by matching the positive (+) and Negative (-) ends on the battery (N) to the (+) and (-) markings in the timer (O). The negative ends of the battery (N) should always connect to the spring end of the battery slots in the timer (O). □ Reinstall the timer cover (4) by pushing into place.
Installation (continued) 12 Installing the timer □ Before installation, select the location for the timer (O). □ Use the timer (O) as a template to mark the screw hole locations where the screws are to be installed. Installing into drywall: Drill two 1/4 in. holes and insert the anchors (M) and screws (L). Installing into wood: Drill two 1/8 in. holes and insert the screws (L). Do not use anchors (M). Install screws into the wall, leaving 3/16 in. to 3/8 in.
Operation 1 Flushing and checking for leaks IMPORTANT: After installation is completed, turn on the hot and cold water supplies. Check for leaks. 1a Unfiltered water model □ 1b Filtered cold water model Pull the hose assembly out of the spout and remove the spray head by unscrewing it from the hose in a counterclockwise direction. Be sure to hold the end of the hose down into the sink and turn the faucet to the warm position where it mixes hot and cold water.
Care and Cleaning □ To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and dry with a towel. □ Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals when cleaning this faucet, or the warranty will be voided. Troubleshooting NOTE: Refer to the service parts section in this manual for a detailed drawing showing the location of the parts listed below. Instalación en panel de yeso: Taladrar dos orificios de 6.4 mm e insertar los anclajes (M) y tornillos (L). Instalación en madera: Taladrar dos orificios de 3.2 mm e insertar los tornillos (L). No utilizar los anclajes (M).
