CERAMIC SINK AND BASIN CARE GUIDE
To prevent water spots from forming on your GW Ceramic Sink, we recommend rinsing and wiping the inside of the
sink with a microfibre cleaning cloth after each use.
To clean more thoroughly, use water and a mild ammonia-free liquid soap detergent. Using a soft sponge apply
the soap detergent then rinse away with lukewarm water. Pat the sink dry with a microfibre cleaning cloth.
For hard water deposits or lime-scare, GW recommends the following solution: 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. Apply
the mixture to the inside of the sink then with warm water immediately rinse thoroughly and pat the sink dry with
a microfibre cleaning cloth. In order to prevent streaks use a chamois cloth to dry the sink.
For tougher stains such as toothpaste residue or rust - which can be caused by mineral deposits from the water
supply, GW recommends a baking soda and vinegar solution. Combining the two ingredients into a paste-like
consistency, apply this directly to the aected areas. Let this sit for approximately 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm
water then pat the sink dry with a microfibre cleaning cloth.
DO NOT use cleaners containing abrasive powders, bleach, ammonia, alcohol, or chlorine.
DO NOT use abrasive pads, steel wool, or wire brushes when cleaning the sink. Using these items will damage and/
or wear down the sink surface.
