The doors will be locked and the climate control system may come on. The engine will continue to run for 10 minutes. Repeat the steps for a 10-minute time extension. Remote start can be extended only once. Canceling a Remote Start To cancel a remote start, do one of the following: .

On vehicles with four-way lumbar, press and hold the front or rear of the control to increase or decrease lumbar support. To raise or lower the height of the support, press and hold the top or bottom of the control.

Push and pull on the seatback to make sure it is locked. To return the seatback to the upright position: 1. Lift the lever fully without applying pressure to the seatback, and the seatback will return to the upright position. 2.

On vehicles with bucket seats, the seatbacks also recline. Heated and Ventilated Seats J: Press to heat the seat and seatback.

Adjust the outside mirror so that the side of the vehicle and the area behind are seen. 4. Press either (A) or (B) again to deselect the mirror. See Power Mirrors on page 2-16. To power fold the mirrors: 1. Press (C) to fold the mirrors out to the driving position. 2. Press (D) to fold the mirrors in to the folded position.

To manual fold the mirrors: Fold the mirrors inward to prevent damage when going through an automatic car wash. To fold, pull the mirror toward the vehicle. Push the mirror outward, to return to its original position. Heated Mirrors Press 1 to heat the mirrors.

The front wiper control is located on the turn and lane-change lever. Turn the band with the wiper symbol to control the windshield wipers. 8: Black plate (16,1) For a single wipe, turn to 8 , then release. For several wipes, hold the band on 8 longer.

Open/Close: To open the sunroof, press and hold switch (A) until the sunroof reaches the desired position. Press and hold the front of switch (A) to close it. Vehicles with the Universal Remote System will have these buttons located in the headliner.

The sunshade must be opened and closed manually. If an object is in the path of the sunroof while it is closing, the anti-pinch feature will detect the object and stop the sunroof. This may be an early indicator that the tire pressures are getting low and the tires need to be inflated to the proper pressure. The TPMS does not replace normal monthly tire maintenance. Maintain the correct tire pressures.

The taillamps flash and a chime sounds to indicate when the liftgate is opening and closing. L (Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm): Press and release to locate the vehicle. The turn signal lamps flash and the horn sounds three times. Press and hold L for more than two seconds to activate the panic alarm.

Replace with a CR2032 or equivalent battery. 4. Snap the transmitter back together. Remote Vehicle Start If available, this feature allows you to start the engine from outside of the vehicle. It may also start up the vehicle's heating or air conditioning systems and rear window defogger.

Immediately press and hold / until the turn signal lamps flash. If you cannot see the vehicle's lamps, press and hold / for at least two seconds. When the vehicle starts, the parking lamps will turn on and remain on while the vehicle is running. The doors will be locked and the climate control system may come on. The engine will continue to run for 10 minutes.

Passengers, especially children, can easily open the doors and fall out of a moving vehicle. When a door is locked, the handle will not open it. The chance of being thrown out of the vehicle in a crash is increased if the doors are not locked.

You will hear three chimes to signal that the delayed locking feature is in use. Pressing the power lock switch twice will override the delayed locking feature and immediately lock all the doors.

Adjust the climate control system to a setting that brings in only outside air and set the fan speed to the highest setting. See “Climate Control Systems” in the Index. . If the vehicle is equipped with a power liftgate, disable the power liftgate function.
