ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS

TO AVOID RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, BE SURE TO SHUT OFF
POWER WHILE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS FIXTURE.
NOTE: Before installing, consult local electrical codes for wiring and grounding requirements.
Installation Steps
1. Carefully unpack your new Fixture and lay out all the
parts on a clear area. Take care not to loose any small
parts necessary for installation.
2. Shut off power at the Fuse Box or Circuit Breaker Box.
Remove the old fixture from ceiling, including the
Crossbar (D)
3. Attach the Crossbar (D) to the Ceiling Box using the
two Screws from the Outlet Box. The side of the
Crossbar (D) marked “GND” must face out.
4. Raise the Ceiling Pan such that the Outlet Box
and splices are completely covered.
5. While holding the Ceiling Pan toward the ceiling,
connect the electrical wires as follows. Connect the
black wire from the fixture to the black house (hot)
wire. Connect the white wire from the fixture wire
to the white (neutral) house wire. Make sure all wire
nuts are secured. You may wrap the connections with
electrical tape. If your outlet has a ground wire (green
or bare copper) connects fixtures Ground Wire to it.
Otherwise connect Fixture’s Ground Wire directly to
the Crossbar (D) using the Green Screw provided.
Tuck the wire connections neatly into the Ceiling Box
as you hold the Ceiling Pan assembly towardthe Ceiling.
6. Attach the Washer onto the Nipple, and securewith the Nut.
7. Attach the Cap (L) over the Nipple(G) and secure with
Finial (M).
8. Place Glass Shade onto Lamp Holder and secure
with Cap and Socket Ring
9. Install the light bulbs in accordance with the fixture’s
specifications. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM
WATTAGE RATING!
10. Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
Ceiling Box and test the Fixture.
