CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralthreadedholes.Twoofmountingscrews

(A)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(B).Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)thatholdthesescrewsinplace.Ifthescrewsarenot

attached,pleaseholdcanopy(F)uptomountingstrap(B).Lineuptheholesincanopy(F)withtheholesinmountingstrap(B)and

insertmountingscrews(A)intomountingstrap(B)sothatmountingscrews(A)protrudethroughtheholesincanopy(F).Mounting

screws(A)arelong,sopleasetestthecanopyagainstthemountingstraptoseehowfaryoushouldinsertthescrews.Tightennuts(C)

ontomountingscrews(A)toholdthescrewsinplace.

2.Placemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxandsecuremountingstrap(B)inplacewithmountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE

3.Rods(L)areonthexture’swires,butnotconnectedtothexture.Bymeasuring,determinethecorrectnumberofrodsneededfor

properhangingheight.Connectrods(L)togetherandthentothexturebodyatpost(M).Tolengthenthexture,addadditionalrods.If

additionalrodsaredesired,contacttheplaceofpurchasetoorder.Toshortenthexture,slideanyexcessrodsoffthexture’swiresto

discard.Trimthewiresafteraddingatleast8to10inchesofwiretothedesiredlength.Note:Youcaninstallthexturewithoutrods,by

connectingpost(M)directlyintoswivel(I).Twisttoprod(L)ontothethreadsofswivel(I)ofcanopy(F).Locktherodinplacebytwisting

thescrewonswivel(I).Pullthexture’swiresthroughthetopofcanopy(F).

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

5.Pushcanopy(F)uptotheceilingandtightlythreadnuts(H)ontotheexposedthreadsofmountingscrews(A).

6.Installlightbulbs(notprovided)basedonthexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumwattage.

7.Slidemetalcages(N)uptothebottomofcaps(P).Securethemetalcagesinplacewiththeremainingdecorativenuts(H).

Please note that you can move the light source at joints (O) to adjust the angle of the light source.

Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.

CONNECTING THE WIRES

4.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Refertothewiringdiagramand

attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,NeutraltoNeutral,

andGroundtoGround.Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesure

alltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,locateground

screw(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrapandwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Use

ascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandintothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.

Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and

completely remove the old xture from the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.
