BEFORE FIRST USE 1. Carefully unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove any tape, labels or packaging material. 2. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. DO NOT PLACE IN THE DISHWASHER. USING THE K-CUP® MANUAL COFFEE PRESS Figure 1) Place a cup in the base large enough to hold the desired amount of coffee and insert a K-Cup® capsule into the capsule holder. NOTE: Never remove or puncture the foil top of the K-Cup® capsule before inserting into the holder.
Cleaning: DO NOT leave used coffee capsules in the capsule holder. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly. DO NOT PLACE IN THE DISHWASHER. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly prior to use. Storage: Be sure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store appliance in its box or in a clean, dry place. Never store it while it is hot or wet.
