1. Remove all cover screws (A).
Carefully remove front cover (B).
2. Remove pump yolk (C).
3. Slide pump (D) off mounting pins.
Disconnect pressure control
wire. Press tab on right side of
connector to release.
4. Unscrew pump packing
module (E) from top of pump (D).
Remove packing spring (F) inside
top of pump.
5. Place new packing spring (F) in
top of pump (D). Guide rod of new
pump packing module (E) through
packing spring and into pump.
6. Torque new pump packing module
(E) to 270 to 330 in-lb.
(31 to 37 N-m).
7. Lubricate gear (K) with grease.
Work grease between all teeth
for best results.
8. Install pump (D) on mounting pins.
Connect pressure control wire.
9. Rotate gear until rod cap (G) fits
into slot (H) of pump yoke (C).
Install pump yoke. Detail 1.
10. Be sure guide rods (I) are correctly
aligned. Install cover (B). Install all
cover screws (A) finger tight before
final tightening.Tighten two lower
screws first.
To replace pump
packing module:
1. Remove all cover screws (A).
Carefully remove front cover (B).
2. Remove pump yolk (C).
3. Slide pump (D) off mounting pins.
Disconnect pressure control
wire. Press tab on right side of
connector to release.
4. Unscrew pump packing
module (E) from top of pump (D).
Remove packing spring (F) inside
top of pump.
5. Place new packing spring (F) in
top of pump (D). Guide rod of new
pump packing module (E) through
packing spring and into pump.
6. Torque new pump packing module
(E) to 270 to 330 in-lb.
(31 to 37 N-m).
7. Lubricate gear (K) with grease.
