Application
Operation possible in conjunction with: pressurized storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically-controlled instantaneous
water heaters. Operation with unpressurized storage heaters
(displacement water heaters) is not possible.
Technical data
Flow pressure min 7.25 psi / recommended 14.5 – 72.5 psi
Operating pressure max. 145 psi
Test pressure 232 psi
If static pressure exceeds 72.5 psi, a pressure-reducing valve
must be fitted.
Avoid major pressure differences between cold and hot water
supply.
Flow rate at 43.5 psi flow pressure:
Spout approx. 26 l/min or 6.9 gpm/60psi
Shower approx. 8 l/min or 2.5 gpm/60psi
Temperature:
Hot water supply max. 176 °F
Recommended (energy economy) 140 °F
Notes
Installation of backflow protection must comply with local
codes and regulations.
An access panel must be provided for access to diverting
unit and hose connections.
Major pressure differences between cold and hot water
supply should be avoided.
Installation
Layout dimensions to establish centers and proper clearences,
see dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Fitting and connection, see fold-out page II, Figs. [1] to [7]
and Fig. [9].
Flush piping system prior and after installation of faucet
thoroughly!
Shut off cold and hot water supply.
I. Install the operating unit, see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].
II. Install the spout, see Figs. [2].
III.Install the diverter, see Fig. [3].
When screwing in (left-hand thread) the sleeve (A), make sure
that the internal groove aligns with the position of the set
screw (B).
IV.Install the hose guide and hand shower, see Fig. [4].
V. Install the hoses, see Figs. [5], [6] and [7].
Note the installation position of hose (C).
Connection
1. Connect enclosed hoses (E) to the supply lines, see Fig. [9].
2. Fit hoses (E) to pipes (D).
Open cold and hot water supply and check connections
for leakage.
Operation
- Lever (I), see fold-out page III, Fig. [10].
- Diverter (K)
Pulling lever (I) releases the water supply.
Water will emerge from the bath inlet first.
Pull diverter knob = flow is diverted from bath inlet to
shower outlet
Press diverter knob = flow is diverted from shower
outlet to bath inlet
Flow is diverted automatically from shower outlet to bath inlet
when the fitting is closed.
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and lubricate
with special grease.
Shut off cold and hot water supply.
I. Cartridge, see fold-out page III, Fig. [11].
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation positions.
When installing the cartridge, ensure that the seals are
correctly seated.
Tighten the screws evenly and alternately.
II. Shower hose and filter, see fold-out page III, Fig. [12].
Secure the shower hose against slipping down again.
Assemble in reverse order.
III.Diverter, see fold-out page III, Fig. [13].
Assemble in reverse order.
When screwing in (left-hand thread) the sleeve (A), make sure
that the internal groove aligns with the position of the set
screw (B).
IV.Mousseur (13 922), see fold-out page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I (* = special
accessories).
