4. Using the jBrowser

WAP 2.0 Gateway, Jataayu 1.X Gateway profiles and a direct
connection.
• The Active Profile box displays the currently active profile. To set
a profile as active or change the active profile, select a profile from
the Profile list, and click on the Select button. By default the
Jataayu WAP 1.0 Gateway is selected.
• Check the Browse Offline box for offline browsing. To disable
offline browsing, uncheck the Browse Offline box. By default the
Browse Offline option is disabled.
• Check Load home page on startup to load your home page on
starting the application. By default the Load home page on startup
is disabled.
•Click Apply to enable the connection settings. Click Cancel to
close the dialog box.
• To edit a profile, select it from the Profile list and click on the Edit
button. Details such as the name of the profile, the URL of the
homepage and the Gateway to connect through, address and port
number can be edited.
• Enter the user name and password if the selected Gateway needs it.
• If the Gateway is a WAP 1.0 Gateway, the connection type is to be
specified as Connection Less or Connection Oriented, and the
username and password are not required.
•Click Done to save the settings or Cancel to exit.
Cache
Browsed pages can be cached for future viewing. Fetching pages from the
cache loads the page faster.
