Appendix IV: Care
and maintenance
This unit is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be
treated with care. Please read the suggestions below carefully, which will
help you enjoy the functions of the product and its accessories longer.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire!
• Keep it and all its parts and accessories out of children's reach.
• Keep it dry. Precipitation, humidity and liquids that contain
minerals will corrode electronic circuits.
• Do not use or store it in dusty, dirty places, which may reduce the
performance of the product and cause damage.
• Do not place it in hot places. High temperatures can shorten the life
of electronic devices, damage batteries and warp or melt certain
plastic parts.
• Do not attempt to open it. Non-professional handling of the device
may cause damage to it or even invalidate the warranty.
• Do not drop, knock or shake it. Rough handling can reduce the
lifetime of the unit or cause damage.
• Do not use strong detergents, chemicals or alcohol to clean it, or
use dry cloth to wipe the screen. Please wipe it with soft and
slightly dampened cloth or anti-static cloth.
• If the unit, battery, charger or any accessory is not working
properly, take them to your nearest authorized and qualified service
center. Non-professional handling may cause great damage and
invalidate the warranty.
