4. Terminate the OUT port of the last unit with
the end terminal connector included in the
PSU-232 or PSU-485 connection kit.
5. Press the Function key to enter the
Normal configuration settings for
the master unit.

Set the following settings:
F-70 = 1 or 2
Configure the master unit as you
normally would for RS232 or
RS485 remote control.
F-71 = 0~7
Set the baud rate (set all units
the same).
F-72 = 1
Set to 8 data bits.
F-73 = 0
Parity to none.
F-74 = 1
1 Stop bit.
F-75 = 1
Set the UART TCP to TDK
(emulation mode).
F-76 = 00~31
Set the address of the master
unit. It must be a unique
address identifier.
6. Press the Function key to enter the
Normal configuration settings for
the slave(s).

Set the following settings:
F-70 = 2
Set the slave unit to RS485.
F-71 = 0~7
Set the baud rate (make all
units, including the master, the
same baud).
F-72 = 1
Set to 8 data bits.
F-73 = 0
Parity to none.
F-74 = 1
1 Stop bit.
F-75 = 1
Set the UART TCP to TDK
(emulation mode).
