INSTALL ATION
Power On:
• Pull down the battery cover and pull out the insulation strip in the battery compartment.
o Base unit setting: Wipe the desired installation area clean, then remove the protective paper from Velcro
on unit and press the unit firmly to the installation area
o Outer sensor setting:
 Outdoor setting: use the double sided tape to stick the rectangular shape sensor holder to the
desired installation area
 Aquarium setting: press the sensor suction cup firmly onto the glass inside the aquarium tank
with a distance of about 100mm under the water level
°C/°F Select:
• Press [°C/°F] button on the back of the unit to select the temperature unit
Room/Outer Sensor Temperature Select:
• Press [In/Out] button to select room or outer sensor temperature. The IN symbol indicates that the reading is for room
temperature and the OUT symbol indicates that the reading is for outer sensor temperature.
Maximum & Minimum Temperature Memory Display:
• Press [Max/Min] to display maximum temperature memory (MAX symbol will be displayed)
• Press [Max/Min] again to display minimum temperature memory (MIN symbol will be displayed).
• Press [Max/Min] again to take instant temperature reading.
• Holding [Max/Min] one second to reset minimum and maximum temperature memory.
Display Backlight
• Press [Light] button to turn on the display backlight
High/Low Temperature Alarm Setting (for Outer Sensor only):
• Press & hold [Alarm Set] button then the HIGH/OUT icons will flash
• Use [°C/°F] button to set the desired alarm high limit
• Press [Alarm Set] button once more and the LOW/OUT icon will flash
• Use [°C/°F] button to set the desired alarm low limit
• Press [Set] again to finish the setting
 During the limit setting, holding the [°C/°F] button will advance the value automatically
 If the temperature value is out of the set limit, then the alarm will sound
 Press any button to stop the alarm sound
