• Do not short-circuit charger/power supply unit contacts!
• Since batteries, chargers and power supplies heat up during charging, do not cover

• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct

3. Getting started
Warning
• Only operate the product from asocket that has been approved for the device. The socket
must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not
available, unplug the power cordfromthe socket.
• If using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the total power consumption of all
connected devices does not exceed the power strip's maximum throughput rating.
• If you will not be using the product for aprolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.
Notes for connecting the power supply unit to suitable terminal devices
• Beforeconnecting aterminal device, check whether the power output of the mains supply
can supply sucient power for the device.
• Check whether the device you want to use for mains operation is compatible with the
connection assignment of the universal power supply unit. If necessary,contact the retailer
of your terminal device or the support centreofyour terminal device manufacturer for more
information.
Please refer to the instructions in the operating manual of your terminal device.
•Check the mechanical compatibility between the universal power supply unit’sadapter and the
socket of your end device without plugging it in.
•Note the polarity of the terminal device’ssocket and plug in the adapter accordingly (see g. 1).
•Set the voltage required by your terminal device on the voltage selection switch using the
included key.
•Plug the universal power supply unit into apower outlet.
•The terminal device can now be used and switched on.
Note
Disconnect the device from the power supply beforecleaning or if it will not be used for along
period of time.

2. Sicherheitshinweise
• Kontakte von Ladegerät/Netzgerät nicht kurzschließen!
• Akkus, Ladegeräte/Netzgeräte erwärmen sich beim Ladevorgang, deshalb nicht zudecken und
für ausreichende Umlüftung sorgen.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt ausschließlich für den dazu vorgesehenen Zweck.
• Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht außerhalb seiner in den technischen Daten angegebenen
Leistungsgrenzen.
• Das Produkt ist nur für den Gebrauch innerhalb von Gebäuden vorgesehen.
• Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe der Heizung, anderer Hitzequellen oder
in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung.
• Verwenden Sie den Artikel nur unter moderaten klimatischen Bedingungen.
• Benutzen Sie das Produkt nicht in Bereichen, in denen elektronische Produkte nicht erlaubt sind.

• Ziehen Sie zum Entfernen des Kabels direkt am Stecker und niemals am Kabel.
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages
• Öffnen Sie das Produkt nicht und betreiben Sie es bei Beschädigungen nicht weiter.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht, wenn der AC-Adapter,das Adapterkabel oder die
Netzleitung beschädigt sind.
• Versuchen Sie nicht, das Produkt selbst zu warten oder zu reparieren. Überlassen Sie jegliche
Wartungsarbeit dem zuständigen Fachpersonal.
3. Inbetriebnahme
Warnung
• Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur an einer dafür zugelassenen Steckdose. Die Steckdose muss in
der Nähe des Produktes angebracht und leicht zugänglich sein.
• Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/Ausschalters vom Netz –wenn dieser nicht
vorhanden ist, ziehen Sie die Netzleitung aus der Steckdose.
• Achten Sie bei Mehrfachsteckdosen darauf,dass die angeschlossenen Verbraucher die
zulässige Gesamtleistungsaufnahme nicht überschreiten.
• Trennen Sie das Produkt vom Netz, wenn Sie es längereZeit nicht benutzen.
Hinweis zum Anschluss an mögliche Endgeräte
• Prüfen Sie vor Anschluss eines Endgerätes, ob dieses mit der
Stromabgabe des Netzgerätes ausreichend versorgt werden kann.
• Prüfen Sie, ob das von Ihnen zum Netzbetrieb vorgesehene Endgerät mit der Anschlussbe-
legung des Universal-Netzgerätes kompatibel ist. Ggf.erfragen Sie dies beim Händler Ihres
Endgerätes oder über den Support Ihres Endgeräteherstellers.
Beachten Sie die Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Endgerätes.
•Überprüfen Sie ohne Anschluss an die Steckdose die mechanische Kompatibilität zwischen dem
Adapter des Universal-Netzgerätes und der Anschlussbuchse des Endgerätes.
•Beachten Sie die Polarität der Anschlussbuchse des Endgerätes und stecken Sie den Adapter
entsprechend ein (siehe Abb.1).
•Stellen Sie den Spannungswahlschalter mithilfe des beiliegenden Stellschlüssels auf die von
Ihrem Endgerät benötigte Spannung ein.
•Stecken Sie das Universal-Netzgerät in die dafür vorgesehene Steckdose.
•Das Endgerät kann nun verwendet und eingeschaltet werden.
Hinweis
Trennen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung und bei längerem Nichtgebrauch unbedingt vom Netz.

2. Consignes de sécurité
• Ne court-circuitez pas les contacts du chargeur/du bloc d‘alimentation!
• Les batteries, les chargeurs/blocs d‘alimentation ont tendance àchauffer lors du processus de
recharge; ne les recouvrez pas et veillez àcequvune aération susante soit garantie.
• Utilisez le produit exclusivement conformément àsadestination.
• N’utilisez pas le produit en dehors des limites de puissance indiquées dans les caractéristiques
techniques.
• Ce produit est destiné àune utilisation exclusivement àl‘intérieur d‘un bâtiment.
• N’utilisez pas le produit àproximité immédiate d‘un chauffage, d’autres sources de chaleur ou
exposé aux rayons directs du soleil.
• Utilisez l’article uniquement dans des conditions climatiques modérées.

Risque d’électrocution

est endommagé.

3. Mise en service
Avertissement
• Utilisez l‘appareil exclusivement branché àune prise de courant appropriée. La prise de
courant doit êtresituée àproximité du produit et doit êtrefacilement accessible.
• Coupez le produit du secteur àl‘aide de l‘interrupteur -débranchez la prise de courant en cas
d‘absence d‘interrupteur.
• En cas de prises multiples, veillez àceque les appareils consommateurs branchés ne
dépassent pas la puissance absorbée totale admissible.
• Débranchez l’appareil si vous ne comptez pas l’utiliser pendant un certain temps.
Remarque concernant le raccordement aux appareils que vous désirez
utiliser
• Avant de raccorder un appareil, veuillez contrôler que le débit de courant du bloc d‘alimenta-
tion est susant pour ce type d‘appareil.
• Contrôlez que l‘appareil (destiné àêtrebranché au secteur) que vous désirez utiliser est
bien compatible avec les raccordements du bloc d‘alimentation universel ;consultez, le cas
échéant, le revendeur de votreappareil ou l‘assistance technique du fabricant de l‘appareil.
Veuillez respecter les consignes du mode d’emploi de votreappareil.
•Contrôlez la compatibilité de l’adaptateur du bloc d’alimentation universel et de la prise de votre
appareil avant de brancher le bloc d’alimentation au secteur.
•Contrôlez les indications de polarité de la prise de raccordement de votreappareil avant de le
brancher àl’adaptateur (voir g. 1).
•Utilisez la clé de réglage fournie andeplacer le sélecteur sur la tension adaptée àvotre
appareil.
•Branchez le bloc d’alimentation universel àune prise de courant.
•Vous pouvez alors mettrevotreappareil sous tension et commencer àl’utiliser.
Remarque
Mettez impérativement l‘appareil hors tension avant de procéder àson nettoyage et en cas de
longue période de non-utilisation.
4. Exclusion de garantie
La société Hama GmbH &CoKG décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommages provoqués par
une installation, un montage ou une utilisation non conformes du produit ou encoreprovoqués
par un non respect des consignes du mode d‘emploi et/ou des consignes de sécurité.
