INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FRONT STABILIZER BAR
2007+ TAHOE, SUBRUBAN, AVALANCHE,
1500 SILVERADO 2WD & 4WD

TORQUE TABLE
BOLT SIZE: 3/8” = 20-30 ft. lbs. – 7/16” = 35-45 ft. lbs. – ½” = 50-70 ft. lbs. – 9/16” = 70-90 ft. lbs.
SAFETY: BEFORE STARTING YOUR INSTALLATION, BE SURE TO SET PARKING BRAKE AND CHOCK TIRES.
NOTE: TO EASE INSTALLATION AND TO PROPERLY ADJUST BAR, THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE MUST BE ON THE
SUSPENSION, AS IF DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. DO NOT RAISE VEHICLE BY FRAME.
NOTE: THIS UNIT IS DESIGNED TO REPLACE THE FACTORY INSALLED FRONT SWAY BAR USING THE FACTORY END
LINKS.
1. Remove the factory installed front sway bar. Keep the end link attaching hardware as it will be used to attach the new sway bar.
2. Lubricate the D-bushings with supplied grease and install on sway bar in location to match factory mounting points. Place U-plates over D-
bushings.
3. Raise sway bar to frame and install using supplied hardware. If vehicle is equipped with 6 speed auto, p/n 7699 is required for installation.
Leave loose at this time to allow for adjustment
4. Re-attach factory end links to sway bar ends and tighten to factory specification.
5. Torque the U-plate mounting bolts to 20-25 ft-lb.
6. Bounce the vehicle and check for clearance on all the undercarriage components. Be sure that all nuts and bolts securely tightened. Check and see
that all suspension components, wires, fuel and brake lines etc. are all clear of this installation and cannot be damaged. Recheck your installation
after one (1) week of driving and every thirty days thereafter.
